Posting a New Position

With StepStone EasyCruit, you can easily create and publish a new vacancy, either by using a template system or by setting up a unique custom layout... You can also post the vacancy to a range of external job sites as well as your own company-specific career site and Intranet.

Every vacancy features a highly adaptable application form, enabling you to ask candidates to submit only the information relevant to your recruitment process. Screening questions can be included to assist in making the initial candidate selection.

Application Handling

All applicants that apply for a specific vacancy automatically receive a personal email confirmation that their application has been received. If "killer-questions" have been included in the application form StepStone Easycruit can generate automatic rejection emails to those candidates who gave incorrect answers. You also have the ability to rank candidates based on their responses.

The vacancy list gives you a clear overview of all the recruitment projects - active, expired or completed - within your company. Each recruitment project is presented as a separate folder, where all the applicants are available for you to review and to perform a range of different actions. You can communicate through email and SMS, invite one or more candidates for interviews and send correspondence and rejection letters.

Interview invitations can be sent by email and with a simple click through can directly, can accept the proposed time and date. Alternatively the candidate can either decline or request a new time. These answers will automatically be registered in StepStone EasyCruit.

All actions performed by you as a recruiter are logged in the system, which makes it easy for you to select candidates according to their status within the recruitment process. As the recruitment process proceeds you can attach relevant documents and notes to the candidate file. The system therefore provides a complete overview of the status of each candidate throughout the entire recruitment process.

The system provides total control over which internal users should have access to given departments and projects, ensuring that candidate applications will only be accessible to the relevant employees of your company.

 

CV Database

A common challenge with CV databases is that they collect unnecessary information, and rapidly become outdated. StepStone EasyCruit solves this through setting up company-specific database structures. Moreover, StepStone EasyCruit provides an active database through which the candidates can update their personal details and information by using username and password.

In addition to collecting candidate data for current recruitment projects, the CV database can be used to provide a pool of talent for future hiring.

The CV search module allows you to perform complex searches on the CV data, as well as free-text searches on attached documents provided by candidates. Candidates found through a search of the database can be transferred to a new or existing recruitment project.

 

Other features

Recruitment calendar

Whenever you invite a candidate to attend an interview, an integrated calendar is updated, providing you with a list of all planned recruitment activities within a given time period. This functionality is integrated with Microsoft Outlook / Lotus Notes, ensuring your calendar is synchronised automatically when you plan an interview.

Candidate Communication

In addition to communicating with candidates through email, StepStone EasyCruit has an integrated module that allows you to use SMS technology for candidate communication. Furthermore it is possible to create and manage paper correspondence through StepSone EasyCruit.

Reports

The system supports comprehensive reporting. This includes information on applications received over a given period of time, sources of applications, as well as sex and gender distribution amongst candidates and people hired. Report data can be presented in an Excel worksheet or as a .pdf document.

Employees

As soon as a candidate is hired through StepStone EasyCruit their CV is transferred to an employee catergory within the StepStone EasyCruit database. This enables you to search for specific competencies among your current employees, and at the same time to allow employees to apply for internal positions using their StepStone EasyCruit CV.

Multi-lingual functionality

StepStone EasyCruit supports recruitment across multiple territories and languages. A single project can support multiple languages for both the job listing and the application form, enabling candidates to apply for a position in their mother tongue.
