For our production plant in Amsterdam, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will also act as the Operational Installation Responsible (OIV). In this key role, you are responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical installations at our PPG Amsterdam site. You also play an important part in the engineering and execution of electrical CAPEX and OPEX projects. You act as the main technical point of contact for electrical engineering within the plant and work closely with Maintenance, Operations, EHS, and external partners. * Design, review, and implement electrical installations and modifications * Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with electrical standards and documentation * Ensure the safe operation of all electrical installations * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) * Strong technical understanding of electrical engineering

Previous construction experience including some level of electrical or a low voltage background * Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation and/or building automation * Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.)
