We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior QHSE Center of Excellence Manager (HSE due-diligence and standardization), to join our team.
This role will be responsible for:
1) maintaining and improving our QHSE Management System,
2) delivering and assuring; environmental due-diligence, QHSE and compliance programs for APM Terminals Investment and Project Execution functions, and
3) maintain the environmental compliance program for APM Terminals.
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a senior QHSE manager including HSE due-diligence for capital investment projects and a proven track record in leading QHSE teams in a multi-national organization, as well as strong experience with stakeholder management.
The role will be reporting to the Head of Safety & Resilience APM Terminals and leads a team of QHSE Subject Matter Experts (SME).
We are looking for
* At least 10 years of experience in HSSE roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in a multi-national organization.
* A degree in Environmental Management, Environmental sciences, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications in QHSE management systems (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 14001 / 45001 Lead Auditor) are desirable.
* Proven experience in developing and implementing QHSE management systems in a similar role, preferably within a high-risk industry such as manufacturing, construction, or energy.
* Sound knowledge of environmental regulatory and statutory requirements (license and permits) in a project context is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
