As Maersk Airfreight continues with its ambitious growth trajectory, we are searching for an experienced Airfreight Project Manager (m/f/d) in Europe.
As our Airfreight Manager you will be fully responsible to organize complex airfreight movements. You will also be in charge of the operational process, but also of the financial success of the individual special cargo movement in Europe and other regions around the world.
This varied position is open to be primary filled in Amsterdam/Netherlands.
Your tasks:

Your tasks:
- Manage transport project from receiving the booking until delivery at end destination
- Align all aspects of the transport with the customer project manager
- Pre-book space with airlines according to requirements
- Book local transport capacity from factory to Airport of departure
- Align with destination team for receipt of cargo and final mile
- Organize side-supervision at airport and plane loading
- Highlight any risks as soon as possible
- Supervise personally or through agent the plane loading
- Monitor and update the customer about every process step
- Evaluate project after finalising (any lessons learned?)
- Issues of the movement to Capacity manager and Global control tower
- Transport of individual system
- Perform constant update to the customer
- Ensuring customer-MAERSK alignment on all related processes, bookings, commitments
- Execution of complex air freight shipments transport process
- Financial (project cost)

- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Very Strong customer focus
- Fluent in English is a requirement, with any additional language(s) being an advantage
- Good interpersonal, communication and excellent negotiating skills
- Strong analytical skills
