NOV Tuboscope is seeking an entry level HSE Specialist within our NOV Tuboscope. In this role, you will assist with the ongoing day-to-day provision of HSE support, advice, training, and reporting functions of the Netherland facilities. As HSE Specialist you will take the lead on local audits, continually reviewing work practices and making recommendations of ways in which processes and systems can be improved.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
NOV Tuboscope is seeking an entry level HSE Specialist within our NOV Tuboscope. In this role, you will assist with the ongoing day-to-day provision of HSE support, advice, training, and reporting functions of the Netherland facilities. As HSE Specialist you will take the lead on local audits, continually reviewing work practices and making recommendations of ways in which processes and systems can be improved.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, guide and coach your peers in operational management to ensure HSE improvements are implemented
- Develop and suitable, practical and workable processes that reduces HSE risks as low as we practically can.
- Implement and monitor compliance with company policies surrounding HSE
- Assist with creating meaningful HSE campaigns and initiatives that deliver real change
- Host and lead audits (internal, clients and authorities)
- Coordinate industrial hygiene and occupational health requirements
- Prepare health and safety plans and support the continuous developing of internal policy
- Be responsible for the day to day co-ordination and maintenance of the Health, Safety and Environmental systems
- Assessing legislative requirements applicable to operations and where appropriate implement policies and procedures to ensure effective implementation and compliance
- Timely incident investigation

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Middelbare Veiligheidskunde (Hobéon SKO)
- Experience of HSE administration
- Incident investigation practical experience
- Working knowledge of a manufacturing or engineering environments
- Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
