We invite applications for the role of Geotechnical Engineer within one of our Jack-up Technology teams in NOV GustoMSC’s Engineering Department. In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted in interfacing with clients and geotechnical subcontractors and to execute and develop geotechnical scope. You will also contribute to further developing the geotechnical expertise in the department, improving procedures and future developments.

We invite applications for the role of Geotechnical Engineer within one of our Jack-up Technology teams in NOV GustoMSC’s Engineering Department. In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted in interfacing with clients and geotechnical subcontractors and to execute and develop geotechnical scope. You will also contribute to further developing the geotechnical expertise in the department, improving procedures and future developments.
Primary responsibilities:
- Perform geotechnical analyses such as leg penetration analysis, fixity analyis, sloped seabed assessment, etc. as part of site-specific assessments for jack-up platforms.
- Work as a team member responsible for the geotechnical scope in projects.
- Contribute to new jack-up platform design projects.
- Interface with clients and geotechnical subcontractors.
- Contribute to the development of in-house geotechnical tools and software.
Jouw profiel
Qualifications and skills:
- Master degree in technical education related to geotechnics.
- Preferably experience with geotechnical analyses using programs like Plaxis, Abaqus or Python.
- Preferably a few years of relevant experience in a professional environment.
- Interested in working together with other disciplines such as jack-up technology and structural.
- Full professional proficiency of the English language.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- The ideal candidate exhibits a proactive, analytical and positive attitude, as well as outstanding collaboration skills.
