Your responsibilities

To strengthen our sports team, Gracenote Sports is looking for Football Stats Operators to capture extensive data during live football matches. Using an advanced data entry system, we review and enter all goals and shots, among other things, into our database. This is done live during the match, using TV footage. You'll work alongside a colleague to deliver this in-depth football data to our clients as quickly as possible.

Do you know your football and are you a quick computer user? Then this is the part-time job for you! The weekend and evening hours make it ideal for combining with your studies.

SOME EXAMPLES OF ACTIVITIES:

  • Enter goals and shots, among other things, in matches from competitions such as the Bundesliga, Premier League, Eredivisie, and final tournaments like the UEFA Women's Euro and the FIFA World Cup.
  • Enter cards, substitutions, corners, offsides, fouls, and so on.

Your profile

  • Available on Saturdays and possibly Sundays during the weekend. Weekday evening availability is a plus.
  • You live near Utrecht and are willing to work at our office in the city center. Shifts can last until midnight and you can still come home.
  • Training and working at our office are therefore no problem for you.
  • You are a fast computer user, have a sharp eye, and excellent football knowledge.
  • You also have a good workspace at home with two screens and a stable internet connection for working from home.

We offer

WHEN DO YOU WORK?

  • During the football season (late August to late May), you'll work almost every Saturday and possibly Sunday when top-level football is on. You may also work weekday evenings when the major European football leagues have their matches.
  • The exact working hours depend on the football schedule. On Saturdays and Sundays, your working hours are somewhere between early afternoon and late evening. During a weekday shift, you'll only work in the evenings.
  • During a weekend shift, you'll usually analyze two matches. On weekday evenings, you'll usually analyze one match.
