Agile Coach

Location: Amsterdam – hybrid working

Freelance Contract: 6 months initially

Hourly rate: negotiable based on experience

Working hours: 40 hours per week

We are supporting a global tech client, seeking an experienced Agile Coach to support the adoption and maturity of Agile ways of working across teams, departments, and leadership. The role requires strong coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to drive change at multiple levels of an organisation.

Your responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

    • Coach teams, Scrum Masters, and leaders on Agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.), and mindset
    • Facilitate team development through workshops, retrospectives, planning sessions, and health checks
    • Support Agile transformations, including delivery improvements, team setup, and continuous improvement practices
    • Partner with stakeholders across product, delivery, and technology to identify and remove blockers
    • Establish and support Agile communities of practice and shared learning environments
    • Promote alignment with agile values, foster collaboration, and embed sustainable ways of working
    • Provide coaching at both team and organisational level, adapting approach based on context and maturity

Your profile

Required Skills and Experience

    • Demonstrable experience as an Agile Coach or Senior Agile Practitioner in scaled or complex environments
    • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application in real-world settings
    • Skilled facilitator with experience supporting multiple teams or delivery streams
    • Ability to influence, support, and challenge stakeholders at all levels
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Agile coaching certifications (e.g., ICP-ACC, SAFe SPC, CTC) are desirable but not essential
