Within our Northern Europe Region - spanning the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and the UK - we own and manage eight exceptional assets. These include Westfield Mall of the Netherlands, Stadshart Amstelveen, Westfield London, and Westfield Stratford City.


Your responsibilities

Drive the development and delivery of an inspiring, high‑impact customer journey for Westfield Mall of the Netherlands by leading strategic and operational marketing initiatives. This includes strengthening the brand, creating engaging content, and collaborating closely with the SCM team, Digital Marketing, and the Head of Marketing for Westfield Northern Europe to enhance customer experience and build sustained visitor interest.

What you will be doing…

  • Define and deliver a strategic marketing plan that reflects customer expectations and positions Westfield Mall of the Netherlands competitively within the market.
  • Communicate the brand identity through media, events and digital platforms, managing both bought and owned channels, including media, website, app and social media.
  • Coordinate marketing plans collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders - including line management and retailers, ensuring strong engagement and alignment.
  • Evaluate all in‑centre marketing campaigns, measuring performance and quality, and share insights with key stakeholders.
  • Develop marketing intelligence on lifestyle trends and consumer behaviour, sharing relevant insights across departments.
  • Plan and execute major events, activations and other initiatives that drive customer engagement within the centre.
  • Work closely with agencies to source, create and publish content across bought and owned channels.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Team to ensure smooth execution of the marketing plan, innovative initiatives and engaging digital assets.
  • Develop and manage communications for the loyalty club, aligning themes and content with the centre calendar and publication timelines.
  • Partner with Westfield Rise to create opportunities for brands to activate within both physical and digital environments.
  • Produce internal and external communications that generate positive attention for the centre and manage media enquiries.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and optimisation across all projects.

Your profile

  • 5-7 years of professional experience within Marketing, and you are comfortable working in a role that is both strategic and implementation-oriented;
  • Enjoy identifying trends and opportunities to create new and exciting ways to reach our target groups
  • Have an eye for detail and quality content with an interest in staying up-to-date on the latest trends in marketing;
  • Experience of working with a driving interest in digital channels such as social media, web, app, CRM, marketing and PR;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
