Your responsibilities

Salesforce Application Manager (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Advising and supporting, as well as independently managing and leading large and complex projects for the further development of our Salesforce landscape (focus on Consumer Goods Cloud)
  • Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness in Salesforce
  • Collaborating with business units to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Monitoring and managing the lifecycle of the services under your responsibility (hardware, software, suppliers, partners, etc.)
  • Creating IT manuals and training materials as needed and conducting training sessions if required
  • Ensuring that documentation, processes and operational concepts for the services under your responsibility are up to date
  • Sourcing, comparing, selecting, recommending and ordering—following approval—all relevant components of the Salesforce services under your responsibility or those you manage
  • Ensuring the resolution of issues affecting the services under your responsibility (1st level, 2nd level, 3rd level—international)
  • Conducting appropriate communication for all relevant cases (users, IT management, partners, manufacturers, etc.)Provide appropriate communication for all relevant stakeholders (users, IT management, partners, vendors, etc.)

Your profile

Your Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in (Business) Information Technology and/or completed IT vocational training with relevant continuing education
  • Several years of professional experience in the CRM field at internationally active companies
  • Salesforce certifications, e.g., Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Marketing Administrator, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce projects and their implementation, as well as knowledge of Salesforce development (APEX, LWC, AMPScript)
  • Experience with Flows and other declarative development methods or low-code tools on the Salesforce platform
  • Experience in CI/CD, Visual Studio Code
  • Knowledge of working with Salesforce Core Tools (e.g., Sales Cloud); experience with Consumer Goods Cloud is desirable
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems
  • Fluency in spoken and written German and English
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to continuously learn and implement new technologies and best practices
  • Organizational and administrative skills, as well as a solution-oriented approach to challenges

You should also be prepared to relocate
