Your responsibilities

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage, and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. Working here means being at the heart of progress — not just advancing technology, but also your career.

We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled, and independent Security & Resiliency Consultant to join our growing team. This role goes beyond technical expertise — it requires someone comfortable initiating and developing strategic conversations with customers and stakeholders. You will take a structured approach to consulting by analyzing client data, assessing their security posture, and guiding them to resolve their most pressing cybersecurity challenges.

A background with Business Development, Security and Resiliency is required. You will confidently explain solutions and proposals to clients, ensuring they understand and embrace robust security and resiliency practices

Our Security Consultants are game-changers, pushing boundaries and transforming the way our customers do business. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are ready to safeguard organizations from evolving threats — becoming the guardian of tomorrow’s digital world — then we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client systems. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their unique security requirements, implement effective security measures, and provide expert guidance on risk management and security policies.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing security controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Advise on technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, access controls, encryption, etc.
  • Conducting thorough security assessments and audits.
  • Generating actionable reports to drive decision-making.
  • Participating in the design/review of IT systems and infrastructure to ensure secure-by-design architecture.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and vendors on assessments and due diligence activities.

Your profile

You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. You are customer-focused – someone who prioritizes customer success in their work. And finally, you’re open and border-less – naturally inclusive in how you work with others.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of information security consulting and implementation experience
  • Experience in business development and turning stakeholder conversations into actionable outcomes
  • Background in the banking/finance industry
  • Experience with NIST CSF 2.0, Critical Security Controls, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA and GDPR)
  • Strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices
  • Experience managing risks related to processing, storing, or transmitting information
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to stay current with evolving threats and technologies

Preferred/Added Advantage

  • Familiarity with conducting assessments using frameworks like NIST, RMF, or Common Criteria
  • Experience in cloud security (especially hybrid cloud on VMware), Zero Trust, incident response, network security, and emerging technologies like AI
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP or equivalent)
  • Hands-on exposure to hybrid cloud infrastructure (on-prem/cloud blend, VMware-based)
