“As a WFM employee, you are part of the Productivity Team that manages the (international) labour standards for store processes. These standards indicate how much time can be spent on the various activities in the store, such as replenishing and paying. The standards are therefore the basis of efficient and effective workforce management and the optimization of productivity and labor costs in all Action stores across Europe. You are responsible for maintaining the data in the new workforce management system, as well as performing productivity oriented analysis.”
Workforce Management (Productivity) Employee - Store Operations
What you will do daily
As a WFM employee, you are the administrator / key user of the new workforce management system for our stores. You work with a lot of freedom and independence and you are part of the Store Operations Team. You report to the Team lead Store Productivity. The Team Productivity works closely with our Finance department and is the point of contact for planning and labor cost management for Sales Managers, Regional Managers and various departments within our head office.
To optimize the 'activity based planning and working' in our stores, good control of store activities and labour standards is crucial. Existing data must be regularly recalibrated and new activities added as a result of business process changes. You are jointly responsible for ensuring changes in our stores by accurately managing all data and parameters of the workforce management system.
The core of this function therefore focuses on the data management of the workforce management system. You ensure that the data in the workforce management system is always accurate and up-to-date. This includes, for example, managing store specific characteristics, store activities, labour standards and periodical activities. Thanks to your work, stores are able to execute store activities effectively and to deploy staff efficiently.
Other tasks include managing the KPI dashboard for the stores and contributing to further improvement of the management reports. In case of drastic changes in the stores, you also provide input for business cases where well reasoned decisions can be taken. Finally, you perform various productivity related analysis, both on request and on your own initiative.
