Contribute to offering Medtronic business units services to support their clinical operations at an outstanding quality and efficiency level, supporting their strategies for worldwide medical device approvals to introduce new products to market.
In this role as a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst in MC2 Solutions development, your core responsibilities will be providing technical support for MC2’s core internal forecasting and demand management system, securing its stability, monitoring its performances, and partnering with the external vendor who owns the system to oversee its evolutionary maintenance interventions. In collaboration with key MC2 stakeholders, provide technical oversight as system changes are defined and implemented to ensure business operations remain unimpacted by changes to the system.
In addition, you will have direct responsibilities supporting the rest of the Solutions Development team as a liason with the IT department in EMEA, securing data collectoin systems are correctly setup for study support, and contribuiting to shaping the evolution of your role to fit the ever-changing needs of our organization, in direct partnership with your managers and the functional leaders.

Our Department
Medtronic Core Clinical Solutions (MC2) function offers support to clinical studies from all Medtronic Operating Units globally, offering to internal partners services that span across all stages of operation a clinical trial conduct, from designing and building data collection systems to partnering with statisticians in conducting analyses, through conducting monitoring activities at the hospitals and tracking adverse events and ensuring regulatory requirements on safety reporting are met.
As part of MC2, Global Clinical Data Solutions (GCDS) offers Data Management, Solutions Development and Statistical Programming services to our partners, supporting the design and build of data collectoin systems, of reporting and dashboarding solutions, and statistical analysis routines.
It also offers technical support and business analisys expertise in the technology and IT domain to other MC2 functions and Medtronic stakeholders.

Must Haves
• 6-9 Years relevant working experience with Bachelors degree;
• 4-7 Years relevant working experience with Masters degree;
• Knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes and workflow;
• Good problem-solving skills;
• Good English language skills in reading, writing and speaking;
• Process oriented;
• Client and customer focused in all aspects;
• Team player skills;
• Good communication skills.
Nice to Haves
• Medium SQL programming skills, and/or basic to intermediate knowledge of other programming languages (e.g. python, .NET, C#, java, R, SAS, etc.).
Tasks & Responsibilities
The Senior IT Business Analyst main responsibilities are focused towards planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
• Analyzes production, inventory control, distribution, cost analysis, finance, marketing, human resources, and/or a variety of other business and technical problems to formulate and develop new and modified information processing systems.
• Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures, which are cost effective and meet user requirements.
• Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
• Designs details of automated systems.
• May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.
• Work is performed under general direction.
• Participates in determining objectives of assignment.
• Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
• Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.
• Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
• May assist with projects.
