Sales Support Specialist
Powder - Evaporation & Drying

The position will be based in Heerenveen, NL.

Your responsibilities

What will you do:
  • Manage Services inquiries from understanding customer needs till selling the solution in close cooperation with Market Company
  • Ensure our customers are satisfied and take action when needed to make things right
  • Make regular joint customer visits with the Services Account Manager team to foster a relationship with key customers and to provide them with Powder Expertise.
  • Build up relationships with your counter partners in Clusters and Market companies to continually develop knowledge, skills, and confidence, while holding the team accountable for performance
  • Gather market intelligence and formulate proposals for new service product
  • Actively participate in the development of Powder Services Business
  • Drive introductions for new upgrades and services that are added to the Services portfolio
  • Act in a safe manner and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Execute small upgrade & service projects in role of order owner
  • BU point of contact for allocated key customer accounts
  • Drive implementation of operational activities as defined in key account (KA) plans
  • Deploy the service portfolio to its accounts
  • Provide inputs for targets settings
  • Share accountability for customer satisfaction results
  • Provides support to secure fast issue resolution and appropriate communication

Your profile

We believe you have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, automation or dairy processing engineering or similar suitable education and/or experience
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience preferably in the food industry
  • 3 years sales experience in technology industry will be a plus
  • Customer relationship management skills
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong customer focus and a desire to win
  • Hands-on and practical approach
  • Accountable, driven, result-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial mindset; team player
  • Ability to work under pressures of time and economy to prioritize work and maximize the business result
  • A track-record of achieving activity or financial targets is essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of processing equipment used within the food industry
  • Experience with Tetra Pak processing equipment will be a benefit
  • Experience of working with service concepts and maintenance methodology at plant level
  • Good communication skills to manage your environment
  • Good verbal, written & computer communication skills are essential
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
  • Willingness to travel as required (typically around 25%)
