A Day in the Life Medtronic is developing its activities in the Coronary, Renal denervation and peripheral field. It aims at becoming the Medical Technology leader across the full Cardiovascular treatment. The role carry responsibilities across the entire CRDNPV portfolio.
The sales representative role is crucial to ensure excellent sales / clinical support and education to the customers to safely develop these therapies and help meet or exceed the sales targets while enhancing Medtronic’s reputation in the market.
Tasks & responsibilities: • Plans and prioritizes sales; • Sell and support to the Health care professionals in the O.R., Cath Lab; • Hands on support to the field sales team and health care professionals on request on site and online; • Participates in the development of employee and customer training/education programs; • Technical support to HCPs during renal denervation and peripheral procedures; • Supports marketing and clinical department with clinical knowledge; • Support market, and competitive information and trends and metrics in a comprehensive, • Complete and timely fashion to increase market share; • Report customer complaints; • Carries out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner (i.e., inventory management); • Reports to Benelux front line manager; • Attends all required regional, national, and international meetings.
Your profile
Must Haves • Experience in the medical device industry (>3years); • Ability to travel nationally and internationally over 10% of the time; • Clean driving license; • Fluent French/English; • Bachelor’s Degree preferable Bioengineer-, Physics or other relevant degrees; • Nursing Degree; • Preferable French, English, Dutch;
Nice to Haves • Experience in OR/Cath lab environment as a healthcare professional; • Experience as a Sales in the Medical device industry is a plus;
Skills & competencies • Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales force, physicians, nurses and hospital technicians; • Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team; • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization; • Proven track record of good judgment. Demonstrated integrity and respect of peers/subordinates; • High attention to detail and accuracy; • Computer literacy • Full clean driver’s license; • Results Orientation; • Integrity; • Interpersonal Effectiveness; • Quality Orientation; • Continuous Learning.
