hello energy is the leading SaaS scale-up that helps make real estate sustainable. We do so by collecting all kinds of data, connecting people, and changing people’s behavior for the better. Our end goal is energy positive buildings. And we’re getting there! Companies such as Prologis, citizenM, Syntrus Achmea, CBRE, Bouwinvest, and KPMG are using hello energy to drive sustainability at over 1,000 buildings worldwide. Let’s go!
What will you be doing?
You will join our growing in-house development team as we transition the development process from an outside source. Our MySQL energy database is processing data from thousands of energy meters and sensors from buildings all around Western Europe. Our SaaS application, built in Python using Django, JSON, CSS and HTML, is visualizing data driven content on all kind of devices. Many API’s and parsers are in place and ready to be accompanied by many others. We have a roadmap with lots of features waiting to serve our clients.

You will be part of the Product & Tech team, working with our CTO, developers, UX designer and data analysts. You’ll be a part of our high energy team of 12 people, growing to 25 within 18 months.

We are looking for a Python UI developer using Django framework:
- 2+ years experience with Python
- Experience with Django framework
- Experience in web development including HTML, CSS, Java Script
- Experience with MySql
- Outstanding English
- Good team player
- Desire for learning and growing
Nice to have (but not required)
- Version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, etc
- Docker / Kubernetes / CI/CD / DevOps
- API Development
- Distributed software development
- Developing applications in a cloud environment, such as AWS or Azure
