Advantech Europe has grown rapidly over the past years and we plan to keep on growing our top-line. To achieve our goals, the organization needs to change to be able to capitalize on the market opportunities to support the growth. You will guide and help us to ensure the major projects we will start in the upcoming years are successful!
You are responsible for the setup and rollout of several internal organizational projects. This could vary from the implementation of a new company wide CRM to the merge of business units to become one company. To be ready for such projects, you start by setting the framework and standards for program- and project management, you create the baseline for future projects.
Your main source of projects is the European Management Team, meeting in your Steering Committee. You prepare meetings for this Steering Committee and execute on decisions made. You coordinate people and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. In the end, you are responsible from planning to execution and delivery of the project.
Of course, you execute these projects with a range of internal (and potentially external) resources. You set priorities, organize, keep track of timelines, progress reporting, everything to ensure the planning is met. You maintain and update a risk log, action log, decisions log and issue register. Tracking financial reporting whilst ensuring that the program and projects adhere to the corporate financial processes including authorization levels is as an important part of the job. All in all, you inspire people by your actions, you lead by example. With you in our team, we are ready for the future!
You are a seasoned project manager in bigger change and improvement projects. The combination of education and experience you have makes you able to think ahead. “What potential problems are in front of us, and how can I act now to prevent these issues later?” Because you have been active in in organizational change projects, you know what factors to keep an eye on. Whether it’s stakeholders, budget, timelines or quality, leave it up to you to handle and manage it.
Over the past years, you’ve been working in the high tech industry or comparable in the Brainport region. You’ve managed big organizational change projects, such as merges, reorganizations and efficiency programs. Communication is key in your line of work, you talk with people on the work floor and spar with executive board. Pragmatism, pro-activeness and ownership describe you as a person.
