Job Summary:
Within the Research and Development Team, you will research and develop novel components and integrated component products for the delivery of injectable drug products. In this role you will create a vision and strategy for future components. Using fast cycle product development, you will focus on developing an in depth understanding of specific market segments and driving the development of product solutions to address unmet needs. You will also cultivate an innovative culture for early development projects in the packaging components team.
To stay up to date with trends and materials, you will build and foster successful cooperation with external networks like suppliers and universities, as well as knowledge centers
To be successful in this role, you have a sound knowledge of elastomers, plastic and rubber with a background in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
In your roles you demonstrated proficiency in CAD modeling, project management and deep experience in leading development programs
While dealing with multiple technical projects and many varied stakeholders, you know how to organize and communicate technical ideas and concepts
You are a Team player with experience in driving projects from the idea to reality while working in international teams
To find your way in our dynamic environment, you are able to make quick informed decisions under pressure and challenge existing and new ways to act and think
As you interact at all levels, you are a strong communicator in English. German skills or willingness to learn is positively evaluated
You are willing to travel up to 10% internationally to West facilities, suppliers, technical conferences and trade fairs
