Job summary
As a Key Account Manager (Retail) you will be responsible for implementation of account specific business plans to achieve account profitability and sales targets. You will manage assigned accounts to provide key execution and full support for the accounts’ activity in selling our writing products. You will be part of BeNeLux sales team of 8 people, working with some of the best-known brands like DYMO, Parker, Waterman, Rotring, PaperMate, Sharpie, ELMER’s. You will be based in home office yet connected with our offices in Goirle (NL) and Sint-Niklaas (BE).

Job summary

You will be part of BeNeLux sales team of 8 people, working with some of the best-known brands like DYMO, Parker, Waterman, Rotring, PaperMate, Sharpie, ELMER’s. You will be based in home office yet connected with our offices in Goirle (NL) and Sint-Niklaas (BE).
Key responsibilities:
- Achieve sales target according to defined sales objectives.
- Support strategies in accordance with overall customer’s strategy
- Develop account schedules and deliverables with customers
- Monitor category performance versus plan
- Conduct regular reviews of business performance, promotion strategies
- Managing and enforcing invoice to net programming for major accounts
- Forecast, budget and track account revenues and cost
- Manage account's financial support program, business building program and support customer service and operations on supply chain programs
- Visit customers, including stores.
Your profile
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales/account management in retail sector (FMCG or CPG).
- Fluent Dutch & English
- Good command of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Good knowledge of Dutch supermarket sector and demonstrated experience in sales negotiation and closing a sale
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally, to drive collaboration and build relationships with counterparts across the organization and customers
- Familiarized with a multinational environment and its operating complexity
- High-energy, self-starter as well as collaborative team player
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
