A high-level operational and strategic role for a business-focused leader who can take our company further
This is a position with senior management responsibility for trucking, rail and barge within the scope of Europe. Thus you lead and manage the inland transportation team with a day-to-day focus on the operation of a reliable and cost-effective inland transportation network. Beyond this, you formulate strategy, action plans and implementation for mid-and long-term developments. Reporting to the COO you are a member of the operations management team and you work closely with the Regional Directors.

Detailed activities
You design and execute an efficient and effective organizational structure aligned with the business processes in collaboration with other corporate functions such as Human Resources and IT and Processes. Further, you develop, implement and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure and maintain service reliability, efficiency, asset utilization and costs at budgeted levels.
