Financial Controller (Sr)

We are looking for a full time (Sr) Financial Controller for our German entity, based in the Rotterdam area!

We are searching for an energetic colleague, who’s ready to contribute to the finance team’s success, while developing his/her own’s skills and knowledge. 

Where?

At VONQ, in the city centre of Rotterdam, with regular travel to our Dusseldorf office. 

Key responsibilities:

• Debtors, creditors and general ledger management;
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements and performance;
• Assist with tax filings, external audit, forecast and budgeting;
• Streamline and manage accounting and financial operations across the Group;
• Lead process improvement projects.

How do you fit into the VONQ family picture?

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 4 to 5 years of work experience as a Financial Employee or External Auditor;
• Fluent in English, German is highly desirable; 
• Good analytical insight and a hands-on mentality;
• Organized and able to work under pressure, while still delivering accurate work;
• Good knowledge of Excel; Twinfield / Basecone / Salesforce is a plus
