Future Talent Programme – technical track is a one-year trainee programme to develop your engineering skills and bring you leading technical knowledge in an accelerated way. Electrical Engineer – Future Talent Programme
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated new graduate to join our Future Talent Programme starting in September 2021 and become the next generation of engineers and leaders in our industry.In this role you join Business Unit Cheese and Powder Systems, which develops, engineers and commissions cheese and powder production equipment for the food industry. With over 800 employees in 8 countries, we develop, deliver and facilitate a world-leading portfolio of process solutions in close cooperation with the Tetra Pak Market Companies.

You will be based in Heerenveen, Netherlands.
In this position you will travel occasionally, about 10% of your time.
Your profile
What You Will Do
- With your ideas and contribution, help push our limits as part of the largest food processing and packaging company in the world with more than 5,000 patents and some of the best experts in the field.
- Be trained to design automation systems for the food industry. Your main contribution will be to make a design of the automation systems on the work assignment, contract and machine specification.
- Support the electrical workshop at supplier site during the production/build of the automation equipment (electrical cabinets).
- Prepare FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) documentation and execute electrical FAT at the workshop.
- Propose design changes/improvements for future projects.
- If needed, troubleshoot during installation and commissioning.
- Occasionally participate in commissioning and assembly of production lines.
- Make changes in electrical documentation after assembly.
Who You Are
- Finished recently or are about to finish your degree (2020 or 2021) in Electrical/ Electrotechnics/Automation & Control Systems Engineering or related disciplines (available to start in a full-time position from 1st September 2021)
- Knowledge of drawing programs (experience with Eplan is an advantage)
- As an advantage initial work experience in a similar position, working with electrical documentation.
- Passion to follow the newest technological trends and to apply your theoretical knowledge into actual challenges.
- A mature and professional personality with the ability to create and utilize a broad international network.
- Natural ability to look at a problem from more sides and discover the simple solutions that others might not catch. Ability to simplify, prioritize and innovate.
- Both technical and commercial approach with a structured and independent way of working.
- Furthermore, we believe that you are a true team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to travel and work internationally, especially within the EU, with a valid driving license.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken). A good command of a second language is an asset.
