We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Digital Portfolio Enabler to help us define and steer digital and automation technology initiatives within our Integrated Supply Chain (ISC). This is a unique opportunity to take part of our digital journey from the early stages and unlock the potential of Industry 4.0 for AkzoNobel !
Your mission will be to define and execute portfolio management processes, with the objective to facilitate and secure “best in class” delivery and benefits realization. As such, this is a multi-facing and highly influential role at the heart of a fast-moving and fully resourced effort alongside true experts from a wide range of countries and cultures. It also represents an outstanding international opportunity to proactively shape the portfolio, first establishing a clear overview of the initiatives then ensuring consistency across delivery while providing targeted support to projects execution. You report to the Digital and Automation Technology Director.

Digital Portfolio Enabler
This position is based at our Amsterdam HQ or our big site in Sassenheim, and you will travel occasionally to other sites. As a prime mover and enabler in our digital transformation you are heavily involved with a number of activities:
You define, monitor and review an evolving set of initiatives, planning the alignment, milestone reviews and benefits tracking etc. In doing so you perform and optimize portfolio governance and projects execution methodology, overall and per region/site in close cooperation with various stakeholders.
Working closely with our various sites you shape new initiatives (requirements, delivery model, etc.) by identifying, managing and facilitating the prioritization of business demand.
Support for project delivery
You coordinate with project teams in terms of facilitation, follow-up, standardization, best practices implementation, etc. In doing so you promote innovation and proactively advocate best-in-class delivery improvements.
As the ISC digital and automation enabler and advocate you identify, plan, perform and follow up related communications. This includes opportunities such as webinars and events.
Across all these activities and at all times you continuously aim to improve processes and content, promoting and enabling an agile mindset and ensuring that we are up-to-date with latest digital initiatives. You also contribute to the development of the digital and automation strategy within ISC, carefully managing and developing a collaborative relationship with key ISC and IM stakeholders.
