A career at ING offers more than you might expect from a bank.
Like many other banks, ING’s focus for many years was on perfecting existing processes in order to deliver a consistent experience across our branch network. But ten years ago along came the smart phone, and our world changed forever.
We had a choice. Cling to the past and be replaced. Or invent a new future for ourselves.
We chose to invent.
Where we once had large departments, conventional structures and traditional hierarchies, we now have autonomous, multi-disciplinary squads. Working agile, squads take end-to-end responsibility — from design to delivery — for all new features and services.
It’s working. In 2016, ING was named Western Europe’s Best Digital Bank. In 2017 we were voted Best Bank in the World.
The COO Risk&Finance/Global Services department delivers Risk and Finance related services to its stakeholders, i.e. Global Risk functions, Group Finance, CRO’s and CFO’s of countries and Business Lines, Tax and Group Treasury. These services encompass operations, controls and reporting.
The Global Services (GS) organization has 8 Circles. You will lead one of the Circles and, accompanied by an Agile coach, you guide 2-3 self-organizing Risk Partner Teams. These teams each consist of about 5-10 employees who are responsible for delivering risk reporting services to different stakeholders.
You’ll be responsible to deliver the Risk Reporting deliverables to internal and external stakeholders of ING Bank who are depending on the analysis and reports on trends or crossings/excesses observed as part of your service offering. These services include Credit and Market risk reporting, Management and Reporting of Threshold Crossings (MRTC) and Limit Excess Services (LES).
