Your responsibilities
About the role
The role of the Associate Scientist is hands-on, carrying out projects end-to-end. Working with the Beverage scientist on the scope, you will propose formulations and work independently to carry out trials involving innovative ingredients -e.g. Stevia or Fibers.
Collecting and analysing data, right through to characterisation of the product, you will be suggesting solutions or improvements to projects.
You will also be producing samples for colleagues and customer presentations, participating in tastings and sensory analysis sessions.
100% based in the lab or pilot area, you will have responsibility to make sure the right resources are in place for Beverage-related projects – whether raw materials, equipment or packaging - liaising with the suppliers as required.
You’ll contribute with the team to ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained to ensure compliance with rigorous health and safety protocols.

The primary focus is serving the European market, but as a member of our global Application and Technical service network, you’ll get to connect with and learn from international colleagues across other regions. With experience in beverage formulation and an appetite to innovate this is a role to support our regional strategy by best utilization of the portfolio of ingredients and help in developing on trend prototypes.
