To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as a Sales Manager (m/f/d) for our Personal Care & Home Care or Food & Animal Nutrition area in BeNeLux.

Your responsibilities

  • Drive profitable growth through direct sales and strategic customer portfolio management in the Personal Care & Home Care or Food & Animal Nutrition industry
  • Manage pricing decisions, conduct customer visits, and ensure accurate reporting to support business development.
  • Identify and acquire new customers by region and application, driving market expansion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support market entry and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Actively manage sales activities, including customer visits, quotations, pricing, and CRM maintenance within the assigned market segment.
  • Develop strategic annual plans in collaboration with the Business Line Manager and monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining and expanding existing relationships through regular contact.
  • Coordinate demand planning with internal teams and manage travel arrangements independently for customer interactions.
  • Achieve strong operational results and margin contribution through profitable customer management, ensuring high customer satisfaction and portfolio quality.

Your profile

  • Commercial education (e.g. business administration, sales, marketing) or a technical / chemical background — a combination is highly desirable
  • Personal Care & Home Care/ Food & Animal Nutrition market and product knowledge
  • Sales experience in the field
  • High level of customer service
  • Negotiations and communication skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and structured working style
  • Team-player
