The Technology & Innovation (T&I) function is comprised of more than 10 SABIC Technology Centers (STCs), shared SABIC application Centers (SACs) and centers of excellence (CoEs) across our global network. The Global Process Excellence organization exists in our T&I organization as an enabling function within the T&I community and is chartered with identifying and driving best-in-class processes and the harmonization of systems and structures needed to enable and sustain leading edge technologies and a world class technical community.
The Challenge
A key responsibility for the Global Process Excellence Organization is the ongoing leadership of process improvements for project and portfolio management, including process and system design, implementation, and maintenance.
Responsibilities / Duties of T&I Process Analyst
Provide end-to-end process leadership for T&I process harmonization including:
- Facilitating process evaluation, design, and feedback communications with leadership and researcher teams.
- Leading processes / tools that enable T&I Leaders to clearly communicate and robustly implement relevant metrics and milestones within their respective organizations – including the development and delivery of training (when needed) on systems and processes.
- Partner with Process Management team members to ensure seamless global operations among Process Management and our internal customers.
- Ensure that each STC/SAC is engaging in process improvements and harmonizations and moving away from niche historical practices.
- Approach current and future practices with a “continuous improvement” goal, identifying and working to improve processes and the systems that accompany them.
- Providing consultations as needed on process design in other T&I functions, such as Ideation and Innovation, Venturing, and Technical Intelligence.
Requirements
- MSc in business, computer information systems, engineering, sciences, or other relevant field.
- Demonstrated industry experience successfully leading large-scale global projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to define and implement process improvement programs that include metrics definition, metrics management, and an ability/passion to understand and navigate IT systems to map data flows and generate reports.
- Proven ability to clearly communicate and influence across multiple levels of an organization, including written and verbal communications.
- Proven track record and passion for hands on problem solving both as an individual and as part of a team including the preparation and analysis of strategic and tactical project data.
- Excellent facilitation skills, including effective tele-conference meeting leadership.
- Able to work flexible hours when necessary to accommodate global program management and able to travel occasionally.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with working in a culturally diverse organization/environment.
Desired
- Certified Green Belt/Black Belt/Master Black Belt or certifications in other relevant process improvement methodologies/approaches.
- Experience working in or closely working with R&D processes.
- Work experience and broad understanding of polymer and chemical industries.
- Prior experience with knowledge/business process management trends & technologies and/or functional ownership of systems and system implementations.
