Electrification Products is the division of ABB that specialises in supplying standardised products, systems and services that are applied in electrotechnical installations on the one hand and process automation on the other.
The Electrification Products business unit is responsible within the Benelux for the development of the data center market segment.
Within this business unit, the team in The Benelux has a vacancy for a Business Developer Data Centers.
You will be expected, in collaboration with the ABB Group, to build up and expand the totally data center market segment throughout the Benelux. The data center market is still developing for ABB Benelux and you are able to expand this. You will be supported by the ABB group as ABB is already active within data centers for several years.
Your tasks cover the entire process from market analysis and strategy development to the sale of the whole ABB cross division portfolio.
You will be expected to work out requests and to offer appropriate solutions with regards to the total energy distribution, with an emphasis on low-voltage distribution units for new construction projects and to offer service solutions. You will present and substantiate your proposals at clients’ and ensure their commercial follow-up.
Many ABB products and solutions come together within the data center market segment. You communicate and work closely with the various other ABB departments in accordance with general agreements and with external parties to put forward a specific, customised solution.
- You have attained Higher Vocational Education (HBO) level through formal training or through experience in ?the field of Information Technology or Electrical Engineering.
- You have experience with the data center market within the Benelux and have knowledge of users in this field.
- You have proven experience of setting up and developing a new market segment.
- You are familiar with low voltage distribution units and energy distribution in general.
- You have a sales and marketing-driven personality with several years of proven sales experience.
- You are a strategic thinker with experience in developing the segment and processes.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You are enterprising, result-oriented, ambitious, convincing, team player.
- You have an excellent command of Dutch and English.
- You are a holder of category-B driving licence.
