Customer Service Representative (German speaking)
The role and its responsibilities
This role is based at our office in Arnhem, the Netherlands, from where you perform a complete suite of Customer Service tasks.
As Customer Service Representative you receive and process Sales Orders, Return Orders, Third Party Orders, Debit/Credit notes. You also follow up orders with the Sites, Production Planners, and Shippers, proactively following up with customers on contract fulfilments. At all times you ensure orders are processed according to agreed procedures and follow up with the Sales Manager and Contract Officer to ensure the right price and conditions are in the system. You also arrange and coordinate all delivery and packaging matters, and perform all invoicing procedures in a timely and efficient manner. Further, you create sample orders upon request of Sales/Technical management, manage fleet availability, and check completeness of sales orders regarding transport and/or billing blocks, etc. You also monitor the return of goods. In addition you check and maintain customer master data and register customer complaints in the OFI system, proactively coordinating follow-up of complaints in order to assure a timely and correct response to the customer. At all times you seek to continuously improve, optimize and standardize all work processes, techniques and systems, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Finally, you manage overdue receivables as well as customer complaints through to final resolution. You also update and maintain the CRM for the relevant portfolio.

- MBO or HBO (middle to higher vocational education) level of working and thinking combined with at least three years of relevant experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge of export and custom rules and regulations;
- Pro-active teamplayer;
- Strong communication skills;
- Experience with SAP is an advantage;
- A high level of German, English and Dutch.
